Ashley Lovelock

Ashley is a family lawyer with more than 7 years post-qualification experience and more than four years working within the Harris Freidman family law team.

Ashley completed her Masters of Law majoring in family law in 2023, having graduated with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Wollongong before being admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia in 2019.

A passionate family lawyer, Ashley guides her clients through the breakdown of their relationship in a clear and empathetic way. Her ability to connect with people assists in maintaining excellent client relationships.

Ashley has expertise in advising clients in a wide range of issues arising from the breakdown of family relationships. Her matters range from straightforward family law claims right through to representing high-net-worth individuals with complex business arrangements.

Ashley often appears in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and works with leading family law barristers.

Highlights of Ashley’s career to date include assisting numerous clients to reach successful outcomes at an alternate dispute resolution level thus avoiding costly litigation, and successfully obtaining recovery orders for children removed to another state without the other parent’s consent.

Out of the office, Ashley enjoys taking a dance lesson and spending time with her friends and family down in Sydney’s south.
